Fashion Sketches Collection Series 002
OVERVIEW
Series 002 builds on the foundation of Series 001 and shows how my technique with alcohol-based markers has grown. In Series 001 I was just discovering the medium. Now I use it with more control and confidence, creating richer compositions and making more intentional design choices. I take inspiration from Vogue magazines and from my habit of critiquing fashion and re-styling outfits. With this series I continue to experiment with composition and explore new ways of visual storytelling.
MEDIUM AND TECHNIQUE
In Series 002, I built on the skills I first learned with alcohol-based markers and started to use them with more control and detail. I explored layering colors to create depth, tried blending techniques to bring more dimension to each look, and used stronger outlines to define shape and movement. I also worked more with proportions and experimented with accessories to make the designs feel complete. This series shows how my technique is becoming more polished as I continue to create with Ohuhu markers, Posca pens, and pencils.
